Poem: Heart to Heart

Our hearts were tethered together 
from the start and will never part. 
Even though, we are apart, 
I will never pull back my heart 
and will always do my part.

My heart and every part of my soul belongs to you, 
so I'd rather die a million times 
then deny my endless love for you. 

Your heart is the only heart 
that beats in perfect rhythm with mine. 
Love is love but true love grows 
with every twist and turn 
and will forever burn.  

This kind of love makes you desire 
to go higher and higher,
and there's nothing that can quench the fire 
you have for the other half of your soul.
Let the truth be told.
